New Year, New Cookbook!

In an effort to regain my Momentum, I ordered a new Weight Watchers cookbook. It arrived during the holiday break, just in time for the new year.

It’s the new Weight Watchers in 20 Minutes cookbook:


At first glance, the recipes look really easy! They look like recipes even an “ingredient-phobe” like me can handle. (By “ingredient-phobe”, I mean that if a recipe has a long list of ingredients, my brain short-circuits.)

Below is the description from the back of the book:

My goal for the new year is to try at least one new recipe a month from the book. Ideally, I’d like to try one a week. Provided the recipes are as quick and easy as they say they are, I should be able to do that real easily. But, I also know that I’m a slug when it comes to cooking, so I’ll be very happy if I manage one new recipe a month.

I’ll post a review once I start using it, and let you all know if the recipes really are do-able in 20 minutes, or if there’s stuff you need to prep beforehand the night before and all that jazz in order to make it in 20 minutes. Stay tuned.
