Don’t Put Too Much Pressure On Yourself

You don’t have to do everything perfectly in order to succeed.

Often, when we put too much pressure on ourselves to do it perfectly, it has the opposite effect. Instead of celebrating the progress we’re making, we beat ourselves up over an occasional slip, get discouraged, and give up.

So, lighten up on yourself! We were not created to be perfect, just human. Instead of focusing on that one piece of chocolate you ate today, focus on the hundreds of pieces of chocolate that you’ve managed to walk right past and haven’t eaten. Instead of beating yourself up, give yourself a pat on the back for how far you’ve come!
